The work of the Arkansas Insurance Department (AID) impacts every business, family and household in the State of Arkansas.  Despite its relatively small size (approximately 170 employees), the Arkansas Insurance Department is one of the top revenue producing/collection agencies in state government.


Additionally, the AID is a dedicated funding agency and operates from fees and assessments charged to the insurance industry.  The Department is accurately described as a true "user pays" organization.  The industry also funds the Consumer Services Division of the AID.
