The Insurance Deputy Commissioner for Information Services and the Information Systems Division provide technological advancement and support for the Arkansas Insurance Department. They support more than 200 distributed computers and their users, and are actively involved in deploying the technology that is enabling the Arkansas Insurance Department to support its mission in the 21st century. The Information Services office focuses primarily on strategic technology systems and efforts. The Information Systems Division focuses principally on tactical day-to-day technology operations and support. In its efforts to keep pace with the ever-changing technological advancements, the Arkansas Insurance Department has received two National technology awards. |
